BULLS FOR SALE

Gowan Ross and Vix Devons have an expanded range of Polled and Horned bulls for your selection this year. There is a bull of different breeding for any herd. We have the genetics for any breeder concerned about narrow genetic base in the Devon breed.

Our bulls are all recorded with the Devon Cattle Breeders Society of Australia and performance recorded on Devon Breedplan. They are all backed by registered parents with full pedigrees and can be registered and transferred to purchasers with registered herds.

Our bulls are reared on natural pastures subject to the setbacks caused by seasonal variation. Supplementation is only used for short periods for show or sale preparation when necessary. You will find our bulls are sometimes not the heaviest weight for age, but they are not heavily fed Saturn rockets that fall away in stages when put out to work.

All bulls are available for private sale unless catalogued for a particular sale. A selection of 22 bulls will be offered at the Inland Devon Breeders sale on 10 September 2010 at Wallawong (formerly Marriot Park), Gunnedah.  

Fully registered females are available for private sale.
